With over four decades of profound experience in the Real Estate industry spanning across Australia and New Zealand, Eric has cultivated an illustrious career marked by expertise in Sales, Project Management, Property Management, and Office Management/Ownership. His journey in the industry began in 1979/80, and since then, he has evolved into a seasoned professional with a diverse skill set.

Throughout his extensive career, Eric has played a pivotal role in numerous successful sales, showcasing his adept negotiation skills in transactions involving both residential and commercial properties. His track record boasts a wide spectrum, handling properties ranging from modest $10,000 investments to multi-million-dollar transactions reaching up to $110,000,000 per property.

During the 1980's and 1990's, Eric emerged as a notable developer in Australia. His involvement extended to the acquisition and development of multi-unit properties in both Australia and New Zealand. Notably, he managed his own team of tradespeople, overseeing the complete life-cycle of buying, renovating, marketing, and selling homes in and around Brisbane.

While he relocated his family to New Zealand in 1998, Eric's commitment to the real estate sector remained unwavering. Although he has primarily focused on real estate sales and office ownership/management, he has continued his passion for development. In 2016, he successfully completed a residential development comprising 40 sections and is presently engaged in the development of holiday parks.

Throughout his career, Eric has owned and operated real estate offices in key locations, including Remuera, Howick, Pukekohe in Auckland, and Pokeno in the Waikato, operating under various brand banners. Notably, he sold these offices in 2019 and subsequently joined the board of First National Real Estate. Currently, Eric spearheads an office in Remuera, where he leverages his wealth of experience to bring robust marketing, sales, and negotiation expertise to every property or project he undertakes.

Having owned collaborated with leading Real Estate Agencies in New Zealand and Australia and owning offices under prestigious banners such as Raine & Horne, Bayleys and RE/MAX since 1986, Eric is well-regarded for his management style and entertaining auctioneering skills. His commitment to servicing his clients is evident in his belief in delivering top-notch service through a blend of experience, skills, and a personalized approach to marketing and selling properties.

I would like to take this opportunity to take my hat off to you regarding the sale of 84 Hutchinson Rd Howick. This was a difficult project for you to complete successfully, as the property was somewhat run down and tenanted. However, i was impressed by the way you delivered an outstanding result in the sale of another property of mine at 3 Fiesta Dr Buckland’s Beach. The later home you sold to an investor who was in fact a resident of Switzerland whom had never set foot on the property. The Hutchinson Rd sale was equally impressive as you squeezed every cent available out of the buyer(s) and delivered a clean straight forward deal. This was complicated when the lockdown for Covid19 commenced, but you still kept in touch with the buyer and the deal eventually settled on time for the correct sum. I have know you for many years now and I would consider you to be one of Auckland's most skilled agents and auctioneers.
