Alan Duncan’s name is synonymous with rural real estate. Commencing in the industry in 1994, Alan right from this point focused and specialised in rural sales. Recently, Alan diversified into lifestyle subdivision with the development of their property. A 68 hectare holding of land in Hamurana Stage 1 of the Todd Duncan Estate was a successful sell-out, and Stage 11, due in 2018, is eagerly anticipated.

Having founded local boutique real estate agency Duncan Realty with his wife Shona in 2003, Alan regards the attainment of Colliers International Rural as a natural career progression. When spare time allows, Alan enjoys relaxing with his family’s equines, or the exhilaration of offshore sailing and car racing.

Having been brought up in a farming environment both Dairy and Dry Stock, Derek left school and went farming for a number of years. The opportunity then arose for him to get involved in the relatively new and exciting kiwifruit industry.

After 20 years, three orchards, a contracting and bee-keeping business, Derek moved to Rotorua to pursue his rental portfolio. Deciding that town life was not for him he sold and moved to the beautiful Ngakuru/Waikite Valley where he lives today. Derek lives there on his 10 acre lifestyle block and farms his dairy support block right next door.
