John trained as a land agent, working mainly in Scotland, where he was involved with all aspects of real estate. Elected in 1985, John is a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and in 1988 set up and ran his own Real Estate, Land Management and Valuation business before selling it and emigrating over here in 1995.

After two years in Auckland for family reasons, John is delighted to have come North again to join Bayleys at Warkworth. Prior to moving to Auckland, John was selling premium coastal and waterfront properties along the wonderful Northland Coast. Top seller for his previous firm, John was asked to join Bayleys, Whangarei in 2001 where he was their top residential agent in 2004 and again in 2005.

John is constantly working to improve his business and now wishes to repeat his success up North here in Warkworth, thus rewarding his vendors with outstanding service and results.
