Max is well known throughout Hawke’s Bay and also through New Zealand.
After 15 years of selling for Rank Xerox, and winning numerous sales awards, he moved into sales management as the Southern Regional Manager – a position he held for a further two years.
He then joined Ubix/Konica Minolta where he held a number of management positions in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Max then came to Hawke’s Bay as Regional Manager and when Konica decided to franchise, he purchased the Hawke’s Bay Franchise which he worked with outstanding success. When the New Zealand company was purchased in a management buyout, so was Max’s franchise in Hawkes Bay, and this opened up an opportunity for Max to transfer his sales and marketing skills to a new industry; real estate.
Max entered the real estate industry in 2005, marketing and selling homes across the Hawke’s Bay. He is now an integral part of the Napier residential team at Bayleys.
His networking and negotiating skills have driven his success in real estate, winning him a number of awards in marketing and sales with Bayleys, and this dedication has also been reflected in his sales of homes across the Bay.
Outside of real estate, Max is an executive member of the Hawke’s Bay Agricultural Society Inc. He has also been the Chairman of the Bayleys Hawke’s Bay Agricultural Society Wine Awards since its inception in 2000. Max is also a Past Master of the Masonic Lodge.
