Since Philip entered into real estate in 2003 he has translated his farming and local knowledge into a successful real estate business. Philip has successfully marketed and sold a wide range of properties that include small lifestyle sections and houses, dairy support units, farms and prestigious homes hidden in the hills surrounding Cambridge. His expertise however extends to marketing multiple lot farm subdivisions that retain the local environs; this valuable knowledge has helped landowners recognize the true value of their properties.

It is not just Philip’s knowledge in this field that sets him apart. His reputation is built on individual attention with weekly updates and strong communication skills to his customers. Time management is an integral part of any business as well as having a positive, think out side the square, never say never attitude, combine all these factors with a strong locally based team the results are inevitably a professional and efficient service.

When not at work, Philip is actively involved in the rural community of Te Miro as well as the Cambridge business community. Philips roles include Cambridge Community Board, along with being a Chamber of Commerce Executive, these roles provide invaluable knowledge that Philip can pass onto his clients along with networking with local business and professionals.

Philip and his wife Clare and their two boys live and farm on the outskirts of Cambridge and in his spare time they are proud supporters of their two boys many sporting activities of Rugby, Hockey, Golf, Cricket and Triathlons at St Peters School, along with Philips love of skiing, mountain biking, swimming and trail running or multi sporting. This provides Philip with a very balanced lifestyle which helps him reach the goals that he is striving to achieve. David’s PA/PR & Marketing Coordinator, Tracy Marshall joined ‘Team-Soar’ in July 2006 bringing with her 10 years experience, in the UK, as a PA at executive level. Tracy is a Licensed Agent.

Angela Mangos joined ‘Team-Soar’ as David's PA at the beginning of 2017 bringing with her 4 years experience in Real Estate both in Admin & Sales. Angela is also a Licensed Agent. Along with her family she has had a lifelong involvement in the equine industry.

David who lives with his partner Heather and 2 children in Tamahere, between Cambridge and Hamilton, grew up on the family farm in the King Country and later gained a Bachelor of Agricultural Science degree, majoring in Valuation and Farm Management at Massey University. This was followed by 15 years in the banking industry where David specialised in farm finance in the King Country and Waikato regions. During this time David achieved status as a Registered Valuer. He also spent 5 years overseas based in London

David enjoys being part of the vibrant local community and is a proud supporter of our local rural schools. His interests include farm forestry and he has completed the South Island Coast to Coast on 2 occasions. David also enjoys skiing with his family during the winter months.
