Hataitai
Wellington East
A Tightly Held Secret
After 42 years the owner is on the move from what is arguably the best apartment in the block. They have loved living here all this time and here are some of the reasons.
" It's close to town and the transport links are great, so you don't need a car."
But if you do have a car, you're in luck as this unit comes with a separate single garage.
" I love my gardening with all my potted plants on my deck in the afternoon sun"
You are spoilt here when it comes to outdoor space with the spacious, private deck off the living room and second bedroom. It's perfect for relaxing and soaking up the afternoon sun.
"It has everything that we ever needed - all on one level, two bedrooms, open plan dining and living area with lovely indoor / outdoor flow".
So if you have given up looking for an affordable place of your own in the popular, sought after suburb of Hataitai then you'll be surprised and delighted with this sunny light and bright unit. There is plenty of potential here to renovate and rejuvenate to your own taste or love it for its original condition.

have come to Real Estate after a successful career as a primary school teacher. I first had to do my compulsory country service at Makomako School in the Wairarapa, then taking on the responsibility of Infant Mistress at Strathmore Park School, relief teaching at various schools and finally as Senior Teacher at Newtown School working with new entrants, the Reading Recovery programme, and children for whom English was a second language.
I have always enjoyed being involved with children - as a Play Centre Supervisor at the Island Bay Play Centre while our three children attended - primary school netball coach, and volunteer at Ronald McDonald House.
As a pastime I have enjoyed working in many service industries - as a week end motel cleaner, cafe assistant, hotel waitress, barmaid and receptionist, and usher at the Town Hall, Michael Fowler Centre, St. James Theatre, Opera House and TSB arena.
Through my husband Gordon, I was involved in the Island Bay Lions Club and take an active interest in and support many community activities and fundraisers.
I am fortunate to have a husband who supports me in my work and patiently assists me at open homes as extra security for the home, puts up the For Sale and SOLD signs and delivers fliers advertising the homes.
It is always a privilege to be entrusted with the marketing and sale of a property and a challenge to help people find satisfaction in not just a house but a home.
I love the Real Estate business and the opportunity it gives me to meet and work for people from varied backgrounds and diverse cultures.

I absolutely love Real Estate and pride myself on the service that I provide to both sellers and buyers.
Taking care of business is exactly what I do. Care being the key word. I care about you, your property, the end result and everything else in between.
Being rated top 2% in NZ and Australia for customer service I certainly know that the clients that have used me have been impressed with the service and the results.
Selling over 300 houses in the last 10 years means that I certainly know what I am doing.
Backed by a fantastic team, I still really enjoy being on the ground and meeting the vendors, purchasers, hosting open homes, managing the process, negotiating and putting deals together. I know how important a house sale is and if you choose me, this is exactly what you get.
If you are after a good experience with great results then I would love to meet you and your property and discuss how I can help you.
A little bit about me:
A true Wellingtonion
I was born and bred in Lyall Bay, Wellington, educated at Lyall Bay School, Evans Bay Intermediate and had my college years at Rongotai College, where I was Head Boy in 1999.
After College, I went up to Wellington Teachers College and completed a Bachelor of Education Degree. I taught Primary School children in Wellington for 2 years before I headed off on my O.E. and taught in London for 3 years. I returned to New Zealand and continued to teach Primary in the Wellington Region for a further 5 years. So, after a ten year successful teaching career, I decided that it was time for a career change. I have a passion for property and it was time for me to act.
It has been a hugely successful change into Real Estate.
I am a multi award winning agent with over 155 million dollars’ worth of sales and after my first year I was rewarded with the ‘Rookie of the Year’ Award. In the last six years I have been presented with 'Premium Status' and 'Elite Status' which puts me in the Ray White Leaders New Zealand Top 10 Group.
