Asked why he came to Tauranga, Ranjit smiled and swiftly answered because “it’s beautiful”. He knew immediately upon arriving that this was the city and environs that he wished to bring up his family.
Arriving from India in 2001 he left behind a career in Civil Engineering, of which he had gained a tertiary qualification in. He had grown up in Northern India with his family that were entrenched in horticulture growing wheat, rice, sugar cane and mustard. Deciding it was time for an adventure he decided that New Zealand was going to be his land of milk and honey!! Ranjit pursued furthering his education and achieved horticultural qualifications working for a number of years in Orchard Management, much of his experience coming not only from his learnings but from his upbringing as well.
In 2008 Ranjit become self employed as a taxi driver learning his way around Tauranga like the back of his hand. Throughout this period he became more and more aware of local real estate as he was asked to help a number of family and friends with their real estate finds as well as investing in property himself. When it was suggested that he enter the real estate field himself it was like a lightbulb had gone off and he has found a truly great fit for his future.
