Born in Germany Yane was raised bilingual speaking Portuguese with her Brazilian mother and German with her father. She grew up travelling with her overseas living father and benefited from a young age from a vast variety of different cultures.

Spending her teens in Berlin Yane started work early fundraising for the German Red Cross and quickly progressed to Regional team leader navigating teams all over the country. Hard working and goal oriented she didn’t only fund living independently from the young age of sixteen but also travelling various countries all over the globe while simultaneously finishing her education.

Driven, motivated and focused she eventually left Germany indefinitely in 2018 and after travelling through various countries she kept finding herself back in New Zealand. Having fallen in love with Aotearoa she finally decided to make it her permanent home by the end of 2019.

After working in a few different fields ranging from hospitality to early childhood education she found her place in Real Estate, working alongside Shane Aitken in Christchurch. She’s a people person who cares deeply about the people she works with and her multicultural background gives her a great understanding of this ever changing diverse community. Experienced in management and sales she keeps her cool in stressful markets and works tirelessly for her buyers and sellers.

If she is not out working with clients she spends time with her Kiwi partner and her dog Koda, hiking up New Zealand mountains or walking down New Brighton beach.
