With a background in business and farming and having grown from lower order share-milking through to farm ownership, Karen knows her business – inside and out.
“Farming is my passion and that has never changed”
Having milked and operated a herd of 180 cows, before buying her first farm, and becoming AGITO certified in Finance and Production Management, injuries took Karen away from her dairy farming duties in 2010.
Karen then found real estate and is thoroughly enjoying helping people achieve their next project – be that acquiring a new farm, expanding their current operations or retiring to a nice home by the sea. “It really is an awesome job, helping people realise their dreams and being able to give practical, down to earth advice. I’m really happy to be doing what I do”.
Karen enjoys her grandchildren when not working and is often found watching her youngest grandchild perform at Highland dancing. She also enjoys quilting and fishing.
